The Ubiquiti Amplifi HD is a great mesh Wi-Fi router system that will cover your whole house with fast wireless service.  It’s incredibly easy to set up, and it works great. If you have a large house or Wi-Fi dead spots, then the two MeshPointHD extenders will help extend your coverage and eliminate dead spots in your Wi-Fi network.

The Amplifi HD router comes with four Gigabit Ethernet connections for wired devices, and WAN port to connect to your modem. There’s also a USB port for sharing printers and storage devices across your network, and a USB-C power port.  Security is standard with WPA2 support and guest network options.

The Ubiquiti Amplifi HD uses half-a-dozen high-density but invisible long-range antennas. Ubiquiti claims it can cover up to 20,000 square feet with theoretical speeds of up to 5.25 gigabits per second (Gbps) using all three access points at once. It comes with a dual 2.4 and 5GHz band router cube and two mesh points, which plug into any power outlet.The Amplifi HD also features band steering. This means the device automatically picks the best Wi-Fi channel depending on traffic load and location.   It’s essentially a plug and play Wi-Fi mesh network solution in a box.
